There is nothing more strange than to visit your friend Google in a foreign country, and find that all the words are squiggly backwards!
Since I am staying in Egypt, Google automatically converts to Arabic mode, which has writing from right-to-left. It's a new experience to be typing on the right hand side of the search box instead of the left.

Wow, that's weird!
When I was in Germany, google.com defaulted to (obviously) google.de - so it would pull up German results everything I tried to google something - it was annoying to not get to the English one easily! :-)
dude, have you picked up any Arabic? What's happening with the Gazans coming over? Have they gotten as far west as Alexandria?
Arabic is a hard language for a white boy, both in printed and spoken forms. Thankfully, whenever I mention "algorithms" and "algebra," the students perk up.
